The Clark County Clerk's Office has released its predictions for 2027's most popular wedding dates, drawing on decades of marriage license data to forecast which days will attract the most couples to Las Vegas.
The list features a mix of "magic dates"—dates with repeating or symmetrical numerical patterns—alongside traditional holidays and cultural celebrations. Highly anticipated dates include 7/7/27 and multiple other repeating-number combinations throughout the year, as well as Valentine's Day, Independence Day, Halloween, and New Year's Eve.
"We have seen firsthand how 'magic dates' capture the attention of couples from around the world," said Lynn Marie Goya, Clark County Clerk. "With so many fun numerical patterns on the 2027 calendar, we expect partners planning their big day will once again make Las Vegas the place to turn a memorable date into an celebration."
The predicted top dates for 2027 include:
• January 1 (New Year's Day) and January 27 (magic date) • February 2, 7, 14 (Valentine's Day), and 27 (all magic dates except Valentine's) • March 27, April 1, April 20, and April 27 (magic dates) • May 4 (Star Wars Day), May 5 (Cinco de Mayo), and May 27 (magic date) • June 27, July 2, 4, 7, 20, and 27 (mix of magic dates, palindromes, and Independence Day) • August 18 (National Couple's Day) and August 28 (magic date) • September 27, October 27 and 31 (Halloween), all magic dates except Halloween • November 9 (Las Vegas Marries the Military/Veterans Day), November 11 and 27 (magic dates) • December 25 (Christmas), 27 (magic date), and 31 (New Year's Eve)
Historically, Las Vegas has experienced record-breaking wedding surges on magic dates. The single most popular wedding date in Las Vegas history occurred on 7/7/2007, when 4,492 couples were married—a day known as "Lucky 7s." The second-most popular date was 11/11/2011, with 3,125 weddings, and 2/22/22 ranked sixth historically with 2,331 weddings.
Las Vegas' wedding industry generates approximately $3 billion in annual economic output, according to the clerk's office. The industry supports 18,000 direct jobs and hundreds of small businesses. In 2025 alone, the Clark County Marriage License Bureau issued more than 70,000 marriage licenses, cementing the city's status as a global wedding destination.
